BOB KOMAR - director
Bob Komar directs Simon Phillips' adaptation of William Shakespeare's problem play.
Focusing on the themes of sex and power, Bob has given the play a contemporary update with the hope of making the text accessible to a younger audience that may be studying the play for examinations in the summer. Bob's shooting style was more documentary than epic, in an attempt to break down any 'fourth wall' or epic like nature that is associated with Shakespearian storytelling. |

SIMON PHILLIPS - producer
Simon Phillips comes to the project after a long theatre run producing Measure for Measure. He wanted to bring the problem play to a larger younger audience and see's the venture as a very useful teaching tool. With a short film production history with Bob, Simon had a script re-developed for screen by Wendy Attwell - based on a theatrical edit by Gian Carlo Rossi and Lucy Richardson. Simon States; "The project has taken about 18 months of my life to concieve, shoot and deliver - and it has been worth every minute". |

TREVOR HUGHES - producer
Trevor Hughes brings his experience of working in the industry to the modern adaptation of Shakespeare's play. His technical experience coupled with his desire to keep pushing the envelope, has guided this venture to completion. Always looking towards the future, his interest in Digital HD, has already bourne fruit in his short film, Between Brothers. |

MIRAN MASHADI - producer
Miran Mashadi joins the venture to bring a new perspective on Shakespeare's lesser well known plays. With a keen desire to contribute to and re-invigorate the British Film Industray, Measure for Measure is the first step in giving the audience an educational and entertaining production. Miran declares; "Nothing is out of reach if you've got the fire to grab it - and keep it!" |
